As a home−schooled candidate / private candidate, you have to register yourself with an exam centre which accept private candidates, and are approved by the exam boards. All IGCSE and AS/A Level exams must be taken physically at exam centres. You must make all your arrangements directly with an exam centre, for taking exams.
As a schooled candidate, you normally register yourself with your school. In the event that you want to take a subject privately, please follow the below option for private candidate.

I am looking for the International IGCSE Edexcel exam centre in Italy. I have contacted British council, they dont offer the exam. Checked on Pearson website, contacted the centre listed in Genova, they have no clue and waiting for regional manager to contact them. Please can you kindly help?

1. Liceo Michelangelo Grigoletti (Pordenone)
2. TRAIN ME S.R.L. (Genova) – which I believe is the one you mentioned.
If these options don’t work, you might want to consider exploring exam centres in neighbouring countries that offer Edexcel exams.

Hi, I am looking for an exam centre in italy. for November 2025 IGCSE Edexcel exams. I found 2 on the Pearson website. One of them is Genova, which is near us. I spoke to the person, whose name shows on the Pearson website, he had no idea and many parents have been in touch with him. He has contacted Pearson, a regional manager was suppose to call him back in 48 hours. However, it has been a week and he hasn’t heard from him. I chatted with Pearson, it was a waste of time as they directed me back totheir website. i explained them that I have already been through, yet I was given the same standard response of referring back to their website. Can you kindly help me locate one in Italy please.

After checking our exam centre guide, we found there is only one Edexcel exam centre in the United States open to private candidates: Toma Barre Education in Fort Worth, Texas.
If your plans are flexible, you may want to consider switching to the Cambridge exam board. They have several exam centres across United States that accepts private candidates. Kindly check the list here.

I am desperately in need of finding an exam center in Romania or India, that offers the Cambridge International Examination, A level exams in February March 2024 as soon as possible. Because every center that I have contacted thus far does not offer the exam for private candidates or is not replying to me.
