Hey IGCSE center,
I had a quick question : Why did you take down the past paper resources from your website? For most of us, that was a very big reason why we preferred this website : It contained the most complete and up to date past paper collection. You may have your reasons which I may not be able to predict, but according to me, I feel it would be better if you reinstate those papers.
Thanks
Hi Ibraheem,
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, due to constant malicious flagging on our Google Drive and inequitable reports, we have decided we will no longer host Cambridge past exam papers on our website. You may purchase Cambridge past exam papers from CAIE or get them from other websites on the internet.
Alternatively, if you are looking for free past exam papers, you may consider Edexcel. Edexcel is offering free past exam papers to everyone. Edexcel board is recognised and accepted by all the top universities worldwide, especially in the UK. You can still download Edexcel AS/A Level past exam papers on our website here: https://skolatis.com/edexcel-international-a-level-past-exam-papers/
Just on a side note, some of our Edexcel past exam papers folders are being maliciously flagged as well. We are currently working on restoring them.
Meanwhile, we provide extended help to our course members, model answers and “Mark Your Paper” buyers to download past exam papers from any free resources on the internet.
We are still here to provide free exam tips, free email courses, free lessons and many other free resources. Please feel free to browse around and make sure you have already subscribed to our newsletter for many more awesome stuff!
We thank you for being so understanding.

Can I give my mathematics 9709 and further mathematics 9231 in the same series? as my school was saying no, but I still wanted to confirm with you IGCSE centre
hope you will help me on this.
Hi Jay,
CAIE, the exam board, allows candidates to take AS & A Level Mathematics (9709) in the same exam series as AS & A Level Further Mathematics (9231). You may download the syllabus for confirmation, get the syllabus here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-international-as-a-level-syllabuses/
However, since you are a schooled candidate, you must follow your school rules.
We suggest that you ask your school about this to understand better why they do not allow taking these two subjects together in the same exam series.
Just remember that, for whatever reason, it’s always beneficial to you. We would suggest to follow through.
We hope this helps!
Dear IGCSE
I am giving As level maths(9709) this November consisting of pure maths 1 and mechanics as my chosen components. However, in future I want to take it forward to A levels I want to know if there are any restrictions on when do I need to give A levels paper, if I give my A level maths papers in June will that be okay? How does igcse decide grades if I give As level papers in November and A level papers in June?
Hi Anay,
If you plan to take the ‘staged’ assessment route, you may carry forward your AS Level marks to a full A Level within 13 months. So if you’re taking AS Level this November 2021 and A Level in June 2022, it is within the specified period of CAIE.
We hope this helps!
Is this also true for further maths(9231)?
Hi Anay,
The 13-month rule for carry forward mark applies to all eligible subjects for the ‘staged’ assessment route.
hello igcse
I will be finished with As level(9709) exams by 29th October and I have decide that I will be completing A level papers for this subject in Oct/Nov 2022 series. You just told me that I can complete A level under 13 months so will my plan work? I am just asking because the deadline is very close.
Thanks in advance
Hi Anay,
Yes, it is within the 13 months specified by CAIE. Your November 2021 AS Level marks will be carried forward for the full A Level marks in November 2022.
We hope this helps!
hi sir/ma’am
i am planning to take computer science as a major in my university but i don’t have maths as a subject right now can i still be alligible to apply and take computer science as a major in university.
plus, i am looking for a computer science tutor can u please recommend a good computer science teacher from your side it will be a great help.
thank you sir/ma’am
Hi Rahul,
Mathematics is part of the entry requirements for most universities. Therefore, there is no other option but to take mathematics to apply as a Computer Science major in a university.
Unfortunately, we do not have a Computer Science subject matter expert in our team.
Thank you for being so understanding.
When will the Summer 2021 paper be available?
Or is it available on other websites?
Hi Adam,
Good news! Our Cambridge AS/A Level past papers are now updated up to Summer 2021 exam series.
Hello sir/ma’am,
I will be applying to US colleges and in the common application (the website through which we apply) asks for counsellor to enter our transcripts and I was wondering what our counsellor should keep for ninth grade since I took IGCSE or would we just have to keep our IGCSE statement of marks (the one we receive from Cambridge)? Same question for AS level grades.
Hi there,
As far as we know, the transcript should be your detailed academic record while at school. Your school should submit this document.
If you are using the Common Application form, AS/A Level qualification is specifically listed in the ‘Testing’ section, under Senior Secondary Leaving Examinations, and can also be inputted as current year courses in the ‘Education’ section.
You can also find resources on the internet regarding US College applications using Cambridge International Qualifications.
Lastly, please get in touch with the website you are using for your US college applications for final confirmation. In this way, you will have 100% assurance that you have submitted the correct documents.
We hope this helps. Thank you.
Dear IGCSE Centre
I am Jay Tripathi, from as level, I am planning to complete my as level maths in 1 year, So can you please guide me that what should be the strategy to complete whole syllabus till 2022 feb-march, like how much chapters should we complete in 1 month etc.
And pleas it is my kind request don’t reply just like asking me to subscribe your paid classes, I can’t afford it I am telling seriously, I would be kind of you if you answer my this query, Once again thank you so much for this much past papers, IGCSE CENTRE
Hi Jay,
Thank you for your kind words.
We suggest students start their revision at least 5 months before their exams to have sufficient time to cover everything.
Here are some tips on how to plan for your revision:
1. Work out how much time you have before each examination. You may download the exam timetable here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-exam-schedules/
2. Draw up a study timetable and block in all activities, classes, and any household or other responsibilities you may have. Include meal times and travel time. BE REALISTIC.
3. Estimate how many hours you think you need for each chapter and try to match it with the hours available in your planner.
4. Plan each study session in detail. This way, you can ensure that you will cover all the required information in the times you have allocated. (Refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected. https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-international-as-a-level-syllabuses//)
5. Include doing past paper examinations in your plan. Simulate the test environment by turning off your phone and isolating yourself in your classroom or the library. Give yourself only the amount of time you will be allotted during the actual test. Download past exam papers here: https://www.skolatis.com/as-a-level-past-exam-papers/.
6. It is important to have breaks to stay alert and productive, so make sure you: include one rest day per week, or break this up into shorter rest breaks across a week.
We hope this helps! Good luck!
Hello Team Cambridge. My question here is regarding A Level Physics (9702). I am studying in India and my question is that do we follow the syllabus updated for India as in from 2022 to 2024 or the older version of Syllabus. Please clarify me on this that it would be easier for me to move on studying.
Hi Kangadharan,
Please follow the year when you will take the exams. For example, if you take the exams this coming November exam series, you should follow the 2019-2021 syllabus. If you are taking the exams in 2022-2024, follow the latest syllabus.
You may download the syllabus here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-international-as-a-level-syllabuses/.
Furthermore, we like to let you know that we are not Cambridge. We are a different organisation that assists students regarding IGCSE, O Level and A Level matters.
We hope this helps. Thank you.
