I forgot but you simply have to equate your kinetic energy to mgh and find h 🙂 I think I got 1.8m

You were meant to add it because the atmospheric pressure added on to the initial pressure to give the weight on the object
you sure we had to add them? cuz thats what i did as well

subtract because in part a (ur calculated pressure) was equal to atmospheric pressure and pressure due to h(this was given in vague words in the question)
so basically pressure due to h = calculated pressure – atmospheric pressure

the refractive index of glass is 2.0*10^8
n=sin I/sin r
and I got my angle as some 78.9 or something like that
