Dear IGCSE team.
my massage is specifically for the IGCSE english 2nd language examiners. It will be extremely helpful if you managed to convey my massage to them.
the english exam criteria is changed as from this year. unlike the recent years, the stories and poems are examined in a separate paper. the paper is for 1 hour n 30 mins. in this time we will be writing 2 essays each of 700-800 words for either stories and poems. which make it a total of approximately 1500 words which is hard especially when they will be giving only 2 choices in either parts (before they were 3) moreover books are not allowed now which made it hard to get a cote or evidence from the story or the poem. but the most harsh thing is the time. many students including me struggled in the mock exams and ofcource we didnt satisfy the words needed. hope the english examiners revise themselves. thanks
