I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

I just learnt about igsce. I am a Nigerian staying in Port Harcourt Rivers state. Please can you give me address of a location or centre to get much information. Thanks in anticipation of your response
Hi Obimba,
You could visit your local British Council for more information.
Can you please upload Igcse English-second language (oral endorsement)(0510) October November 2015 su listening track for paper 4
Hindi Oct/November 2015 mark-scheme?
Where is it?
It’s not been uploaded yet. May I know which session are you sitting for?
Hi Devanshi, I have already given my IGCSE Hindi as a Second Language exam in winter 2015….got 90, yeah a*
Somewhere between iconic and psychotic . Somewhere between I want it and i got it
Can you please help me with a doubt?
In the syllabus (2016) it says under Input and output devices that candidates should be able to know ‘ 2.1 input devices and their uses’ and ‘2.3 output devices and their uses’, so my concern was, do i need to know the description, advantages and disadvantages too although it isn’t mentioned? It was mentioned in my textbook but since the syllabus doesn’t mention it, should i or should i not?
If you know it’s better, because we never no what they can ask! By the way, which session are you sitting for?
yes you do
At least that’s what my teacher told me
hey yeah it kinda goes hand in hand if you think about it
because in multiple choice they have some small tables and ask “which is best suited”
for 4 or 5 marks
Yes definitely! You need to study about their advantages and disadvantages as this would help the discuss questions in the ICT paper. Although, descriptions are generally not asked, I recommend to just read through it as it would help you to uderstand basics. Hope it helped!
Thank you so much all of you!
I’m sitting for the May/June session coming up 🙁
I’m really struggling with IGCSE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (0680). It would be very helpful if you give me some tips and important information. Thanks for your support!!!!!!
Practice past papers. That’s what i did when i gave my EM exam last year. Even before the day of the exam, i practiced past papers, and trust me, during the exam, the questions seemed repetitive cuz I was soo used to practicing them. I got an A 🙂 I missed the A* because i and most of the others didn’t manage to complete paper 2 on time as we slowed down on it. So make sure you have good time management as well. All the best
I gave my IGCSE in Environmental Management last year (Summer 2015) and I got an A* using no extra help. I used this book https://www.amazon.com/Environmental-Management-Core-Level-IGCSE/dp/0199151318
To be honest with you, I was completely terrified before writing the exam and I went around asking everyone to give me some helpful tips. However, the truth is that there are no specific tips that can help you get an A* in this subject or any other for that matter. I can just give you some guidelines that may help you achieve the grade you want.
1. You need to know the content by heart. Everything from the Lithosphere to the Biosphere should be embedded in your brain indefinitely. The book I gave you the link to is very comprehensive and I think it is one of the best books to exist for this particular subject.
2. Revise. Keep revising. You never know when you’re gonna forget one important detail. Often times in exams, we get questions from topics we neglected.
3. Past papers are your best friend. Practice, practice, practice. I cannot stress this point enough. Revise and practice- that should be your cycle.
4. Definitions. The Cambridge people are a big fan of catching you by surprise. And in a subject such as EM, you need to know how to define a concept concisely. Don’t neglect these.
5. Graphs and calculations. Brush up on your math, you will get a question related to math GUARANTEED.
That’s pretty much it. Feel free to ask me any more questions you have. I’d be happy to answer them.
