Molecular mass of compound, the compound with least Mr will diffuse first, ammonia has an Mr of 17 while HCl has 36.5, so ammonia will diffuse fast and reach react with HCl at position D, the reason answer is D.
As the ammonia particles are lighter than the hydrogen chloride particles they diffuse at a higher rate. Therefore the cover more distance and the reaction takes place closer to the hydrogen chloride soaked cotton

Please ask your exam centre for help in this. Though the marks for speaking test will not contribute to the overall marks, it is still important for your future studies. Moreover your result slip will show “No show” / “Ungraded” for the speaking test.

hey all those who gave biology (paper 22 and 42)today ,how was it??
both were actually easy….
4 was especially easy they didn’t ask us any stuff for plants literally
how did u draw the exponential growth curve..i just drew the exponential part..not the lag phase..dat i think shld cme in the strt 🙁

Nah ,the paper was lengthy
The paper was really lenghty and i didnt have time to revise as it was thee next day after my business exam and i missed that bateria and diarrhea question i wrote it though but not sure if it was correct and paper 2 was quite good 3 marks lost for sure 🙁
