Thank you for writing in.
We cannot speculate that. This is because grade thresholds are decided after each examination has been taken and marked. The aim in each examination series is to set each threshold in just the right place to ensure that it is no more difficult and no less difficult to obtain that grade than it was in the previous exam series.
With regards to COVID-19 considerations, schools can request for exemptions from components – such as speaking tests and science practicals. Exemptions can be requested in cases where teaching or assessment was disrupted by the pandemic. However, the last day to apply for exemptions was January 17. We suggest that you contact your school or exam centre for the final confirmation if they applied for the exemption.

Here are some ICT tips:
When answering the written paper, do not provide generic answers when the question requires in-depth answers. Provide a response that relates to the scenario or content of the question.You must give more than a statement in your answer by expanding on the points made. Justification and discussion of the points is also essential. Lastly, do not write brand names. It is clearly stated on the front page of the examination paper ‘No marks will be awarded for using brand names of software packages or hardware.’

Do we have to learn any Newton’s second law in words other than the common one “F = ma”…
Also, I was going through the Energy sections in chapter Energy, Work and Power… and saw that in the syllabus there was reference to “different forms of energy”, “advantages and disadvantages of energy”…
Will these topics and concepts come in our IGCSE Physics March 2021 exams and it’s a “Physics Subject and NOT an EVM Subject”…
