1. Hi
   For English 0500, 2020 syllabus. Is it accurate to say that
   “Paper 1 Reading” will just be 0500/01. It will no longer have 0500/11, 0500/12, 0500/13
   “Paper 2 Directed Writing & Composition” will just be 0500/02. It will no longer have 0500/21, 0500/22, 0500/23

      There will still be variants for each paper. The variant number in the end are for different administrative zones. All the different time zones will have different set of papers. This is to maintain exam security, and to manage the timetabling of exams.

            Here are some revision tips for you:
            Start your exam preparations by downloading the subject syllabus (https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-international-as-a-level-syllabuses/) so you’ll know what is expected during the exams. Then practice, practice, and practice past exam papers. Download the past papers here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/. We suggest that you start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make.

            You may also want to read the Examiner Report as it will help yo understand what are the needed points to gain marks and learn from the common mistakes of students during the exams.

   For English 0500, what is the different between
   1. paper 0500/21, 0500/22, 0500/23 ?
   2. paper 0500/31, 0500/32, 0500/33 ?

   Aren’t they all “paper 2 reading passages (extended)” and “paper 3 directed writing & composition” ?

      If you are basing this on 2019 past papers, you are right. Paper 2 is Reading Passages (Extended) while Paper 3 is Directed Writing and Composition (Core and Extended).

      However the numbers at the end of each paper is the variant. The variant numbers are for the different administrative zones. All the different time zones will have different papers but all papers follow the same syllabus.

      We tried on our end and it is working. Please try to do it again.There should be Shopping Cart and Checkout with PayPal option.

      When you click on “Add to Cart” button, the page will refresh and you should be able to see your cart items at the sidebar and just below “Available Subjects”

      Thank you for your interest. Our model answer is based on past exam papers or specimen papers. For English Literature 0480 model answers, they are based on 2015 specimen papers.

5. Hi I am interested in purchasing English literature (0486) paper 1 model answers for both poetry and prose. I wanted to ask before I purchase as to which texts and poems answers are given for. My text is “my Antonia” so.i want to know will all the model answers be on this text? Same for poetry, as there 3 different groups of poetry, will I get answers all on my set of poems? Would like clarification please before i buy. Thanks
