I would like to thank Skolatis for as my daughter got an A* for her English First Language and 1 for her oral in the last Oct series. In fact she got straight 9 A s*. Skolatis gave her the confidence she needed.

  1. Hi! The exam registration for June 2024 (international) is as early as October 10th, what’s the maximum month the registration could be delayed without paying extra for registering too late?

    Thanks so much!

    1. Hello Hanah,

Thank you for visiting Skolatis again. We are happy to see you here.

The deadline for schools and exam centres to submit their candidates’ entries without incurring late entry fees is February 21st. It’s a good idea to also check with your exam centre, as deadlines may vary for candidates.

If you’re still searching for an exam centre, we have a helpful guide at https://skolatis.com/exam-centres/.

We hope this helps. Thank you so much.

  2. HI,
I’m sitting for my IGCSE exam this november 2023, I’m aware that the deadline for registering is august 16 – my question is, after registering with the British council in my country, do I have to do any further arrangements prior to my exams?

Pls let me know if I have to do any arrangements prior to the exams.

    Thank you so much!

    1. Hi Hanah,

      Thanks for asking.

If you have accessibility needs, it’s important to inform your exam centre so they can apply you for access arrangements. We have a helpful post that goes into more detail about the available access arrangements: https://skolatis.com/accessibility/.

We’ve also compiled a list of what you must do when registering with an exam centre. You can check it out here: https://skolatis.com/exam-centres/.

We hope this helps! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance. We’re here to help!

  3. Hi…I want to register but I’m confused. I have been seeing different things online. I want to know if it is to write only the exams no going for lectures. I want to apply to a school abroad but the school is requiring my results as AAB. So I want to know it is just one subject we are writing or what?? Pls explain

    1. Hi Chiamaka,

      Thank you for your message.

Cambridge exams can be taken by students attending Cambridge schools and private candidates. A private candidate is a candidate who is entered for exams at a centre but is not enrolled. As a private candidate, you have to study the syllabus independently.

You can register with the British Council in your country or at the nearest registered Cambridge school. You can search for any registered Cambridge schools near your area here: https://www.cambridgeinternational.org/i-want-to/find-a-cambridge-school/ and check if they accept private candidates.

On the other hand, AAB means the university requires you to take three subjects and achieve at least an A in one subject, an A in another, and a B in your third subject.

Please feel free to write to us if you have further questions. We’ll be happy to help you.

      Thank you.

    2. Hi Chiamaka,

Did we clear up your confusion regarding private candidates and the school’s grade requirements?

Please let us know if you need further assistance. We are here to help.

Thanks, and we hope to hear from you soon.

  4. Hey the new IGCSE Centre
well I am mailing as I am very much disappointed by the fact that this new website is not giving past papers. As you know past papers are the key to achieve max. marks in exams, you should provide it to us like you used to. Please do something for it plz plz plz.

    1. Hi Jay,

Unfortunately, we stopped hosting Cambridge past exam papers on our website due to constant malicious flagging on our Google Drive and inequitable reports. You may purchase Cambridge past exam papers from CAIE or get them from other websites on the internet. We have listed websites where you can download them. Please kindly check them here: https://skolatis.com/caie-igcse-past-exam-papers/.

Alternatively, if you are looking for free past exam papers, you may consider Edexcel. Edexcel is offering free past exam papers to everyone. Edexcel board is recognised and accepted by all the top universities worldwide, especially in the UK. You can still download Edexcel past exam papers on our website here: https://skolatis.com/edexcel-international-gcse-past-exam-papers/.

Just on a side note, some of our Edexcel past exam papers folders are being maliciously flagged as well. We are currently working on restoring them.

Meanwhile, we provide extended help to our course members, model answers and “Mark Your Paper” buyers to download past exam papers from any free resources on the internet.

Thank you so much for being so understanding.
