Any exam tips on retaining the knowledge I’ve studied?
Thank you!
Hello again, Hanah!
Practising with past exam papers is the best way to retain your knowledge. By practising with past papers, you apply what you’ve learned and become more familiar with the exam style and structure, which will help you feel confident and prepared on exam day.

Good luck!
Hi Hanah!
Did our tips help you? Remember, the key is to practice as many papers as you can! We suggest doing up to 5 years of past exam papers.
Thanks, and let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
Hi, why are the exam timetables for June and November 2023 only? Wouldn’t Cambridge update it for 2024?
Hello Hanah,
Cambridge will release the 2024 exam timetables later this year.
Cambridge plans these exam timetables carefully, as over a million learners from 10,000 schools across 160 countries take Cambridge exams. They take many considerations, such as major national and international holidays. They also ask schools to review the timetables and make comments before finalising them.
Please check our Exam Timetable page in August for the June 2024 exam timetable and in December for the November 2024 exam timetable.
Thanks!
You’re welcome, Hanah. We’re grateful that you keep coming back to Skolatis for tips and advices.
Hi, I plan to sit for the June 2024 CIE IGCSE Exam, I am aware that this post is about the exam series for 2023 but I just checked the Exam timetable and my question is that why isn’t English as a First Language included in the syllabus view? Will I be able to sit for the English as a first language exam in year 2024, June examinations?
Thanks, awaiting for your reply….
Hi Hanah,
Thanks for asking.
You can find English – First Language as First Language English (Oral Endorsement) in the syllabus view.
Our tip is to use the subject code to find the subject quickly. The subject code of English – First Language is 0500. You can find the subject codes of other subjects here: https://skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/
Furthermore, you can sit for the English – First Language (0500) in June 2024. English – First Language (0500) is available in both June and November exam series.
In line with this, we hope you can consider our Early Revision/Full Courses to guide you with our proven A/A* system. You can secure your place now for only £10 and get the early bird special. Please kindly register here: https://skolatis.com/early-revision-full-courses/

Hello,
Refer to the 2021 November IGCSE version 2 exam schedule for Zone 5, I noted the French code is still reflecting as 0520/13, 23 and 43 vs the revised code of 0520/01, 02 and 03. Please confirm the date of exam is as follows:
0520/01 is 17/11/2021
0520/02 is 26/10/2021
0520/03 is 1/11/2021
Also noted in the said exam schedule, it has only one ICT paper (0417/12) on 27/10/2021. How about the rest of the ICT papers?
Thank you
ML
Hi Mei Lin,
Thank you for your message.
As far as we know, French – Foreign Language (0520) still uses codes 13, 23, 33, and 43 for the corresponding papers. 01, 02, 03, and 04 are commonly used for Specimen papers.
Regarding the rest of the ICT papers, which are practical exams, you may find their schedule on the Test Date Windows section of the exam timetable. Please also contact your school/exam centre for the schedule.
We hope this helps! Thank you!
