I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

Does anyone have exam papers and answers from 1990 – 2001?
They actually don’t help much because the syllabi have changed a lot since then.
Hey IGCSE Centre,
If someone is taking 7 subjects and they get 5 plain As from the 7 subjects, the other 2 could be Bs and below, would that person still get a Distinction with their 5 plain As?
Yep! This is how it works for a distinction: Five A’s or above, two C’s or above, and you can get anything else for the rest of the subjects. But the minimum subject number is 7.
The extract from CIE website is here:
International Certificate of Education (ICE)
To qualify for an ICE certificate, a student must obtain at least grade G(g) in each of seven subjects. These must include two subjects from Group I (Languages) and at least one subject from each of Groups II (Humanities ), III (Sciences), IV (Mathematics) and V (Creative, Technical and Vocational).
ICE certificates show the level achieved in the ICE group award:
?
DISTINCTION is awarded if a student obtains grade A(a) or above in five subjects and grade C(c) or above in two further subjects;
?
MERIT is awarded if a student obtains grade C(c) or above in five subjects and grade F(f) or above in two further subjects;
?
PASS is awarded if a student obtains grade G(g) or above in seven subjects.
An IGCSE certificate will be awarded to failing ICE students who obtain a minimum of at least one grade G(g) in a syllabus.
Students who achieve ICE in one series will receive an ICE Statement of Results and two separate IGCSE and ICE Certificates.
Two series ICE students will receive a certificate for the individual subjects taken at the end of the first series and two separate IGCSE and ICE certificates at the end of the second series.

Could any of you pen friends help me out on the topic of fair trade?? I don’t understand the topic and its not in any of my textbooks or recourse books>
Please help!!
Isn’t it free trade, that’s if you are doing economics?
guys who wanna learn more aboout economics or want help can watch his videos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCQEbqDL8i40d83Au55lYMQ
Any tips on Economics paper 2? Anything would help, thankyou!
never forget that in discussion questions, you have to talk about both positive and negative sides of the issue in question! Also, before starting the first question, decide which optional questions you will attempt.answers to Any questions relating to supply and demand may , i suppose, be backed up with a demand and supply diagram, they award marks for it!. Also, when asked to explain or describe, let key points stand out in your explanation with brief descriptions..always use relevant economic terms (even A-level terms may be accepted). Always apply your answers to the short case study in the question, because some facts may not be relevant to the situation in question!!..im not very good at explaining but i hope you catch my drift. That’s basically it. Remember the whole paper is 2h15mins, but some people slip away with question 1 and run out of time. Aim for no more than 30-45minutes to be spent on question 1, cause you have 3 other questions for 20 marks each to go! And most importantly, walk into the exam hall with your head held high, and show Cambridge the A* student you are :). Let’s get ready to kick some ass fellow economics students!!
dear igcse team,
could you update 2014 Cambridge English Pass Papers for Grade 8.
i appreciate your team for the wonderful support through web.
thanks a lot
