I most of the time my answers don’t fit the lines provided for a specific question…..what should I do when that happens? Are we allowed to write on the blank space given.
No Alyna, you can’t do that. As your answer won’t fit into the scanning screen. Just ask for a new piece of paper.
Dear IGCSE team
At what percentage do we get an A* for Biology; is it really 75% according to the grade thresholds of many years or is it the standard 90%=A* and 80%= A .
The standard is a guideline. It is always better to aim higher than lower.
In Hindi as a second language examination (in paper2 listening) if the audio ends in 35 minutes, will we get 10 minutes extra as the timings of the paper are “35-45 minutes approx” ?
If the audio ends by 35 mins, they may only give a minute or so, extra until a lady(preferably) announces “This is the end of the examination.”
Yes you are given extra time..
The Audio doesn’t end within 35 mins its set to end after 40 mins and u get only 5 mins to write the answers!!

Hi Alyna,
No, you should not be writing out of the fixed column on the exam papers. Just ask for another piece of paper, and make sure you label your question number on it, so the examiner knows which question this answer belongs to. Lastly, fasten your answer sheets all together.
