Hi, I’m in 11th grade and just gave my 1st term exams, but I did really bad in a couple, because I didnt take these serious as I thought that the important exams woukd be the IGCSE, I know I can do really well, and want extended tier, but my teacher is forcing me to take the core tier. How do I get extended, will it be ok if I perform well in my Prelims/or the coming exams, or is it that she has to tell the igcse board about whether i need core or extended now?

Once the registration is done, it is fixed. You can’t change. You must discuss with your teacher now if you really want to take Extended.
