I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

I need help or i will fail in may/june 2017 i am rewriting my board exams give me some tips
Hi Myron,
You can start by signing up for the online revision courses here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-revision-courses/. You can even have a preview of the courses before signing up. There?s a revision timetable included in each courses that will be useful for you.
Alternatively, you can use the past exam papers as your revision. Before you start preparing, you should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during exams here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/. Start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make.
How was today’s Hindi listening paper? I found did not find it very easy at all.
same bro it was a kinda hard for me too
Hindi Listening is easy every time. Even the theory is easy every time. I am expecting 30/30, probably.
it was really very easy bro
It was not very easy…It was good.
It was not that easy Katniss. Especially the last question went a bit fast.
Hello Katniss Prior! I know that you are so eager to know the answers of the questions we had. You can know the answer when the marking scheme is released. I?m afraid, you have to wait till then. You might ruin your vacation if you come to know that your answer is incorrect. Anyways keep hoping for high marks Katniss. Even I?m doing the same because we wrote the same exam.:)
But she did not ask for answers….She just asked how the hindi paper was for others Michelle:)
Katniss, the paper was hard for me. I have confirmed that i will lose 10 marks. LOL
Thanks Zeus for having my back.
Dear IGCSECentre,
Thank you so much for all the past papers that you provided me with for free, i practised a lot of past papers before exam, and was able to build my confidence, all my exams went great and i am expecting good results as well, also I had a query, how is the weighting and percentile stuff calculated for sciences and english? if the threshold is at 71, do we get an A star at 71, or is there something more to it?
Hi Kunal,
Thank you for your kind words. 🙂
To answer your query, if the threshold shows A* at 71%, then yes, you will obtain A* with 71%. Every year, the exam questions have slight differences on the level of difficulty. In order to provide equivalent A* achieving chance, the threshold is used to determine the grades for that year.
thank you so much Igcsecentre team
You’re most welcome 🙂
Dear IGCSE centre,
Why do people say not to discuss board exam questions of English? One of my teachers said that in school and i do not know the reason? Will we receive punishment if we discuss?
Hi,
We do not know why your teacher said that. Perhaps, you want to ask them why? There won?t be any punishment for discussion.
Hello guys,
How was hindi listening for all of you and what is your true or false order? It was okay for me. My true or false order was false false false true false true.
Also how was bio paper 6.?.It was easy for me eventhough the paper was lengthy….
it was TRUE FALSE TRUE FALSE TRUE FALSE
There were 3 True and 3 False. I don’t actually remember the series, though. But as I have confirmed with my fellow mates they said it was 3 false and 3 true!
three false three trues alternate
Hindi listening order was F/T/F/T/F/T
your sequence for true or false is wrong bro
it was quite difficult for me as well, it was false true false true false true
Dear IGCSE CENTER,
In what way are marks allotted in India because slot of my friends say that 90 percent is always A* and 80 A but what is really given in India’s Statement of Results. Please Answer. Thank You
Hi Naishali,
To be on the ?safe side?, you can say 90% is A*. The grades would be determined by the threshold. There would be slight differences each year. However, always aim for higher marks – so you know for sure you will get an A* 🙂
Dear igcse,
We have been waiting for the audio of french listening 0520 Oct.Nov 2016!
Our exams are in two days… when will we get it sir?
*important*
Hi Aakash
You can always use other past exam listening tracks as your practice. It is not necessary that you ?must? have the 2016 Oct/Nov listening track in order to score well. There are many past exam tracks available here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/
