I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

I wanted to know the blank pages at the end of the question paper are used for what purpose?
If we write answers there, will the examiner read and correct it?
Hi Meme,
It is better to ask for a new answer sheet which has lines on it for you to write your answer.
The blank page is to indicate the end of the questions. If you do write your answer on it, please make sure you label the answer as for which question. As we said before, ask for a new answer sheet if you need more space for your answer.
Dear igcse team,
This year the maths syllabus was updated, but our teachers did not inform us about the changes and so when we gave our p2 of maths 0580 we every candidate from my school were not able to answer the questions which were from the updated syllabus part. I want know whether I can complain about this to the cie?
Pls reply
Hi Meme,
Yes, definitely you could write to CIE to inform them about this incident. Their website is: http://www.cie.org.uk
heyy there,
did u complete your p12 of hindi as a second language?
Did you not read the cie website? they tell you what has been updated in the exam… im sure that for an exam as important as this, you would have taken your own initiative to look or even take a peek at the syllabus rather than to depend fully on your school, us being practically adults by now! Everyone needs to read the syllabus pdf for igcse, its truly helpful. 🙂
never mind about paper 22 again , concentrate your attension now for paper 42 , if you really aim fo r an A* , good luck , its tommorow , relax and have a good sleep . Dania , enty masreya? ,hahah
why does it matter -_-
Hello IGCSE Team,
on the grade thresholds it says the minimum number of marks for each component eg:
paper 1: 90/100 for an A*, 80/100 for an A etc.
paper 2: 80/100 for an A*, 70/100 for an A etc.
It also says the overall grade thresholds eg:
170/200 for an A*, 150/200 for an A …
If I get 78/100 on paper 1 and 95/100 on paper 2, therefore 173/200 in total, what grade would I get (A*, A or B)?
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANT BELIEVE I HAVE MATH P42 IN JUST 13 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAMN NERVOUS CUZ ITS MY WORST SUBJECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the paper was crap. 🙂
******yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyysssss*****
How is everyone feeling for their Maths Paper 42 tomorrow? Any last minute advice you’d give me for topics I should study? 🙂
Good luck to you all!!!
Does anyone know if it matters whether you wrote your name in FULL BLOCK CAPITAL or if you wrote it the normal way?
Just write in the ‘normal way’ Cels.
dear IGCSE team,
I had heard that u should write it in caps as if by any chance ur handwriting was illegible and read improperly then the examiner may mistake him as another candidate…. Is that true
Hi Saibi,
Every candidate has his/her own candidate number. It won’t be mistaken as somebody else. Unless you wrote your candidate number wrongly.
why maths paper4 is so difficult??
Hi, by any chance. Do any of you know the paragraphing for the IGCSE Malay Foreign Language? Do I write in only one paragraph or must it be more than one? I’m not quite sure as it is not mentioned in the marking scheme. I asked a few teachers and they gave me different answers. I am taking my exam in two days and so can anyone reply as soon as possible if you know which is the correct format?
Hello Kenneth,
If you’re referring to composition, you MUST write your essay in different paragraph to show your ability to expand and sequence your points.
