I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

dear igcse team,
can i know why are the papers completely different from previous years?maths(0580) paper 2 and english as a second language listening paper 4? pleasee?
Because there are changes of syllabus 🙂
that’s why they put a specimen paper for each
hi everyone!
did anyone do the paper4 math or paper 6 chem??
if yes how was it???
easy or hard?
mine is after 2 days!
Whatever didn?t come in paper 2, might come in paper 4, thats what many people say, so practice circles and mensuration and locus, and focus on transformations? And function graphs!
really?but i did get locus mensuration and all u listed
mine was Varient 1
what variant do you do
i got varient 1
i got varient 2
how was chem paper 6????? were ALL the questions easy?? or were there a few hard ones? arrrghhh im freakin out!
dont
it was soooo easy!
ull solve it so easily if u can solve pastpapers
nothing math btw 🙂
enjoy
hi, i just did 0500 paper 3 yesterday, but it was a disaster as i could not finish the last question (descriptive one) Will it greatly affect the score????
Yeah, it could cause i think its known as a writing paper? But if you score well in paper 2 and you evaluated your points really well in Paper 3 question 1 then no need to worry!
Can i ask you who should i contact if my school cheated when conducting the IGCSE? last year they allowed the students to bring a dictionary for their language IGCSE even though it is clearly stated in the syllabus that dictionaries are not allowed?
Hi Mary,
Please write to CIE directly for such incident. Their website is: http://www.cie.org.uk
Does anyone know the cross-sectional area given in the question for maths paper 22?
shenaz
here’s what i did
0.95m square x 4 m/s = 3.8 m cube
3.8 m cube x 3 x 60 = 684 m cube
not sure if thats right because i got a wide range of different answers from my friends
That is the correct answer. I found paper 22 quite easy. The sequence was a quadratic sequence.
the answer for the sequences was 2n squared + 3
i dont hink thats rite
then what answer did you get aleena.
It is 🙂 because you had to calculate the volume of water running every minute. Then multiply that by 180 ( 3 hours ).
LAST YEAR??? I feel bad for all those people who deserved an A* but didn’t get one thanks to what happened in your school 😮
hi, i was wondering why the IGCSE 2015 mathematics (0580) and English Second Language are almost completely different from all the previous years? The mathematics paper 2 for 2015 have a very different pattern from all the previous paper 2 which are all similar. Also, the English Second Language listening have a COMPLETELY different format from all the previous listening IGCSEs?
There was a change in the Syllabus for some of the subjects and English 0510 paper 4 and math 0580 where one of them ((a specimen paper for both were released to show the new style/pattern))
