how was math paper 42 (it was really difficult for me)?
It was really hard and like everyone else here i too found it so difficult so thegrade boundaries will probably be low.
It was difficult . The hardest p4 i have done from all the p4s i did ( 2009-2014 all variants)

majority of the students from my year group found p42 hard!!
It was veeeeeery hard and so different from past papers / specimen paper

I know, I’m scared for Add Maths now too because who knows what’ll happen. Yesterday’s exam was by far the hardest thus far. But don’t think that A* is being lost from my grip

It was pretty good in my opinion. However, there were a few questions that took a lot of my time. I think the hardest question that came was maybe the last question or the question with the rate of fuel lost per 100km
What did you write for the histogram comparisons? I was so confused!
The paper was really tough and the questions were kinda twisted and confusing, it took me a lot of time on some questions….. Hope the threshold goes down

Yes, oh God, the paper was extremely weird. and i felt so depressed throughout this whole day, because i left some parts. but then i saw the trend #IGCSEmaths and read people’s comments and realized everyone had it bad. I’m praying the threshold is nice. only hope now for A*.

that maths paper 42 was the hardest paper ive done, considering I did from 2002 to 2014 over the last three weeks!!! hopefully the chemistry practical wont be as hard as this paper
I definitely found it difficult but it wasn’t awful. I had to think a lot the last 30 minutes to finish it. The mark distribution felt kinda off too

its was pretty easy, but u guyz, no need to worry of course the harder it is the lower the mark grading. i remember that in one year the A for paper 4 reached 58 out of 120. so worries n KEEP GOING STRONG

it wa so hard, I left out nearly 15 marks. and I practiced many past papers in which none of them was this hard. I hope the threshold are very low this year as well as many of the other candidates came out crying and by the way, where did you do it from

i agree with you it was super duper hard. i felt soo bad cux i had worked really hard on math! :/ any way lets all hope that the threshold is low. probably it will be cux everyone found the paper difficult.
How did you guys do in paper 2(second variant) French ? I thought it was okay, what did you get for the true and false? I got the first and last one as true, and so did most of the other people in my class…..

yup…the first one was true
urgh I got that question wrong. I thot first one was false cuz the grandmother told her all the marvelous histories . and question said she learnt the history of her country from her grandma which actually wasn’t specified. I basically though too much for this q and lost 3 marks. but other that that Im pretty sure I got evry other Q right (easy)
I did French as a first language extended mine was ok but the listening part was terrible especially the last page
