I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

any tips for chem
can someone explain th mole concept
Basically, a scientist called Avogadro weighed 12 g of The atom Carbon and counted the number of atoms and found 6.02 x 10^23 particles. He. Named this number Avogadros constant. And based on this he found that one mole of any element contained the Same number if particles and that’s basically it… So 23g of sodium contains 6.02 x 10^23 atoms of sodium.. get it ??

Dear IGCSE TEAM
I was doing a chemistry paper 3. while checking my answers from the marking scheme i realize that i have not included the same points written in the marking scheme but the answer I wrote makes a lot sense to the particular questions.
So i was wondering if i did not include those points which are present in the marking scheme but the answer I wrote is relevant and have those points included in a different manner so will the examiners will cut my marks in the actual paper!!!.
Hello Adhisha,
There are wide range of options as guideline for examiners. So, your answers will get awarded according.
Thanks IGCSE TEAM!!! 🙂 🙂
Hey guys, quick question for chemistry, there’s always a periodic table included in paper 1 and 3 correct? Just making sure.
Yes
Dear iGcse team, I have a question. Our English exam paper 21 was 2 weeks ago, but I am worried. I wrote the exam in light blue pen, not extremely light blue, but not dark blue. Will it cause any problems?
Hi Harry,
If the scanning could take the colour, then your answers will show up. Else, it will make your answers not legible. Please use ONLY BLACK for the rest of your exams. 🙂
oh boy i hope it scannes, Mr.Potter
especially the Defence Against the Dark Arts or Potions IGCSE exam…or else professor Snape will be more than glad
hello guys. Any tips for chemistry? Hope you all the best.

Hey people! I have a question , can anyone explain the hydrogen fuel cell in detail???
Thanks a lot in advance
It is very simple. essentially electons flow from the negative pole to the positive pole. in b/w these two is a solution of KOH. hydrogen is put into the cell on one side and Oxygen on the other, what comes out is water vapor. hydrogen, at the negative electrode loses electrons, so 2H2+4OH(minus)=4H2o and electrons
on the other side, oxygen reacts with the products of this reaction to form OH(minus)
so O2 +H2o+ electrons= 4OH(minus).
electrons flow from the negative pole to the positive one as water is produced.
when we cancel out the reactants and products that are the same we get-
2H2+O2=2H2O
I’ve never learnt that before and im 100% sure that’s not coming in our exam! we just needa know about electrolysis in general 🙂
its in one of the past paperS(2014)
do you mean like when it is in aqueous ?
where H+ And OH- ions are there ?
when i understand it i will come back to u hahah 😀
if anyone expained it would be HELPfuuuull
thank u all
