My son achieved a Grade A in his AL exam!
“My son, an international student from Hong Kong, used their resources two years ago and successfully passed his English IGCSE. Last year, he took the newly offered Biology AL course and achieved a Grade A in his AL exam this summer! Now, he is on the path to his ideal university, and we are immensely grateful for all that Skolatis has done. They are truly wonderful people, from customer service to the tutors, and we can’t thank them enough!”

Are physical science and computing available in AS and A levels from 2022? and can you suggest all possible subjects for engineering in AS and A level? It would be great if you respond and help me for my career?
Hello Jay,
Physical Science and Computing are not offered in AS/A Levels. You may consider taking: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Mathematics – Further.
We hope this helps. Thank you.
Is there some subject solely for animation and video editing ? in A-level, perhaps ??
Hello there,
You might want to check out Digital Media and Design (9481). Please kindly download the subject syllabus here: https://www.skolatis.com/what-is-cambridge-international-as-a-level/
Hi,
is IGCSE harder than A/O-level ?
Hello there,
IGCSE, O Level and A Level are all different qualifications and have different style of exam papers. IGCSE and O Level are equivalent qualifications while students proceed to A Level after completing IGCSE or O Level.
We suggest that you read the following for more information:
IGCSE – https://www.skolatis.com/what-is-igcse/
O Level: https://www.skolatis.com/what-is-o-level
A Level: https://www.skolatis.com/what-is-cambridge-international-as-a-level/
And download past exam papers here for comparison:

O Level: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-o-level-past-exam-papers/
A Level: https://www.skolatis.com/as-a-level-past-exam-papers/

Hi IGCSE Team,
I‘ve previously taken my IGCSE final exams in may/june 2019 and due to covid + financial crisis, I could not study further so I took a break (a mistake unfortunately). I’ve done my research on AS + A levels as well as other things and wish to take 3 subjects: Math, Physics & Computer Science but… I really need your advice and assistance as I have some doubts:
1. Can I take the oct/nov 2021 exam series rather than the may/june 2021 one?
2. Any advice can you give me for studying these subjects at home? (as I want to put in my best efforts and achieve good grades).
3. Any resources that can help me with studying these subjects by my self?
Thanks in advance!
Hello there,
Thank you for writing in. Please kindly read our answers below:
1. It is best that you register for the exams only when you are ready. Typically, the whole A Level syllabus takes roughly 1-2 years to finish. So you must make good plans to follow through and cover all the subjects.
2. You can start your exam preparations by going through the syllabus and learn what is expected of you during the exams. We also cannot stress enough the importance of practicing past exam papers. Start with the latest paper as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older one date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistake you always seem to make.
3. Here are some resources you can find on our site:
Syllabus: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-international-as-a-level-syllabuses/
Past exam papers: https://www.skolatis.com/as-a-level-past-exam-papers/
We will also be offering A Level revision courses next year. Please kindly subscribe to our newsletter here: https://www.skolatis.com/contact/ to be notified. Alternatively, you may want to consider our #AskTheExaminer programme here: https://www.skolatis.com/asktheexaminer-programme/
We hope this helps. Thank you.

how to draw a worst acceptable straight line?
Hello there,
Careless, rushed plotting can lose several marks. It is suggested that you take your time, and always use a ruler to complete graphs and measure straight line distances.
