I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

hi
in English during dialogue writing do we need to use quotation marks over the dialogues because i saw in one of the reading inserts with a complete dialogue quotation marks were not used.
thanks
Hello Pranav,
If you are referring to English First Language, Reading paper question 1, then you do not need to include the quotation marks for the Speech / Interview writings.
Hello
For Chemistry, 0620, Paper 2 (Extended), can I write the mole concept part (the calculations part) in pencil instead of pen because I am not confident about my answers?
Please reply quickly
Abdul Rahman
paper 2 is MCQ
Sorry! I meant paper 4.
write them in pencil but when you make sure they are correct erase them and write them with pen
I dont think there is a problem as it says at the cover do any rough work in pencil but then I dont think it will get marked then
Hi Abdul,
Isn’t paper 2 the multiple choice. I’m doing it too, and you’re given a separate answer sheet where you shade a box (using pencil) which represents the letter you think is the correct answer. So in short, yes. However, if paper 2 isn’t the multiple choice the I don’t know. Best of luck in your studies and test,
Jack
Hi I’m Golam and may i Know what exactly does “A mark will not be deducted for a wrong answer” really means in bio p2 (multiple choice)
dat means dere will b no negative marking ..u wont get a minus one for wrong
it means that you shouldn’t leave things blank; if you get it wrong then it just isn’t counted as a mark.
For example, if you are on 28 and you answer a question randomly and still get it wrong, you will remain on 28, rather than going down to 27
Hope this helps
hey Golam,
It means that if u give wrong answer for any MCQ, there won’t be any negative marking! As in matric system, there’s this rule that if u even give wrong answer or leave blank space for any answer, they deduct mark for that but in IGCSE, no mark is cut for that, Hope u got my point 🙂
It jusy means that if you answer a question correctly you will get a mark, but if you answer it incorrectly you will not get the mark. In other words right answer= +1
and a wrong answer = 0
However in some other tests (not necessarily in IGCSE) You will gain a mark for a right answer and be deducted a mark for a wrong answer. In other words, correct answer = +1
and incorrect answer = -1.
It means that if you got a question wrong, u will lose a mark only for that question( an extra mark will not be deducted).
it simply means your marks are equal to the number of questions you answer correctly.
Ex: 35 correct = 35 marks. You will not get 30 for getting 5 wrong.
Hey there,
I am a candidate of M/J 2016 and I study 5 IGCSE subjects which are English, Maths, ICT, Physics and Economics.
What I actually want to know is are these subjects enough for a good carrier?
What carrier can I go for with theses 5 subjects?
Depends on how you plan to do your A levels or IB

Hi Nadia,
It depends how you plan to continue your further studies.
Which papers should I practice more . Before 2010 or after it.
DO AS MANY AS U CAN…USUALLY U SHOULD DO RECENT ONES FIRST …BUT DEPENDS UPON THE SUBJECT ALSO SMETYMS …
When will you upload the 2016 papers?
