I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

Dear respected IGCSE Team,
First of all I sincerely appreciate you for giving a big hand in our achievement. And wishing for AS website soon.
Secondly I would wish to know if getting A in physics ,D in english,C in math and B’s in biology ,chemistry and ICT would be good for going medical field.
And what subject should I take for AS in this kind of case.
Once again thanks for your concern and what ever help your team has given us.
Hi Salman,
You are most welcome! 🙂
For medical study, you may consider: English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry.
You may want to consider to resit English and Maths. As the minimum grades required for medicine is usually Grade B and above. Some reputable universities even required minimum Grade A.
Dear igcse team,
Can I prefer physics instead of maths.
The entry requirements are fixed by the university. It’s not up to anyone to choose 🙂
So if I resit for maths, then when will I do AS level maths.I am already going to do AS for biology and chemistry. And they are not letting me to do AS maths. So by the time I resig for math and get my result,I would have moved far away with physic and chemistry.
You can resit Maths in this coming session.

Hello Patel,
You may use all variants for practices. They all have the same syllabus. If you only want to practice only one variant, you may check with your school.
Dear IGCSE Team,
I am 16 and I have given IGCSE examination in this may and I have got 3B in ICT, Biology, Chemistry, 1C in Maths and 1D in English with a grade 2 in oral.I want to study in medical fields in the future, so what subjects do you recommend me to take in my AS-Levels and A-Levels?Is this result okay or do I need to re-sit for my IGCSE English and Maths exams? I am really worried about this and don’t know what to do? Can you reply soon as I am very curious to know about it. And thank you for this amazing website.
Hi Sarah,
For A-Level, you may consider, English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry.
You might want to consider to resit English and Maths. You need minimum Grade B or above for studying medicine.
