Hi Sanika,
We cannot comment on where CIE would send the papers for marking. If you wish to know that, please write to CIE directly and enquire that.
It goes abroad I’ve heard because they externally moderate the paper. As for Delhi, CBSE papers are sent there.

the rule of significant in math (0580) and physics (0625).. is it compulsory to round all answers to 3 significant figs in math and 2 in phy???? If we dont.. will it be penalised??

It?s not compulsory to round all answers to 3 decimal points. If you refer to the instructions in the past exam papers, it says ?If the degree of accuracy is not specified in the question, and if the answer is not exact, give the answer in three significant figures. Give answers in degree to one decimal place.?
As for Physics, if you see the answers in the mark scheme always show the rounding to 2 significant figures, these are just the guidelines for correct 2 significant figures. The mark scheme has indicated:
“Answers are normally acceptable to any number of significant figures ? 2. Any exceptions to this general rule will be specified in the mark scheme. In general, accept numerical answers, which, if reduced to two significant figures, would be right.”
You can leave your answers in the way they are if you do not want to round to 2 significant figures.
Always refer to the instructions and what the questions want you to do.

wanted to ask, if I write beyond word limit in English (0500) Paper 3, will I be penalised for it or will I loose marks in the marking bands because I am not able to write concisely?
Hi TS,
You will not be penalised for writing beyond the word limit. However, you have to make sure you can finish all the writing on time. If you write under the word limit, chances are you did not provide enough points to answer the questions, and might end up getting a lower score. While a few words below the word limit is fine, too many words below the limit – you will end up being penalised. Please refer to the mark scheme for the explanation.
Our advice is don?t write too much. Aim for quality rather than quantity. This means to focus more on writing excellent English rather than a long essay.
