I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Basically I normally do well in English but my mocks exam I failed and I really want to achieve an A* grade for May/June 2019 please do you have any tips that can help me
Hi Liala,
We suggest that you prepare for your exams as early as possible. You can revise the subjects from the beginning. Highlight the important facts that you think could be on the test (you should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during exams here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/). You can then use the past exam papers (https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/) as your revision. Start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make. Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
You might be interested in our online revision course. The revision course provides video tutorial, revision timetable, downloadable exam-style practices, common mistakes candidates make during the exams, and also examiners? advice. Our next revision course will be in March-April 2019. The registration will open one month before the revision course starts. We suggest that you subscribe to our newsletter so you won?t miss our announcement once the registration starts. Please kindly find out the details here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-revision-courses/

Hi IGCSE , please i am having a lot of trouble with Accounting and I am writing it May/June 2019 please can you suggest videos or tips that can help me do well the coming exams thank you.
Hello bubblegumprincess,
With Accounting, you?ll need a lot of practice.
1. Learn and understand the key concepts and formulas. Familiarise/memorise the key equations/formulas (refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/).
2. Do revision based on the latest syllabus and practice with the latest past exam papers (https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/). Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
Tips:
– Make sure that you use the information given in the question. The data provided is there for a purpose.
– Use accounting terminology in your answers as much as possible.
– Plan your answers. If ledger accounts or financial statements are required, think carefully about how these should be presented before you attempt to actually write your answer. If the question is a theory question, think about the points you need to include. Plan the order of your answer so that it is clear, concise and not repetitive. Quality is better than quantity.
– When you are asked to comment on some figures, results or ratios do not simply repeat these figures. You are expected to interpret these figures and results and use them to support any recommendations or advice.
what does grades C,D,E indicate
Hi Nathan,
Grades C, D and E means pass. However, if you plan to further your studies, you must get the confirmation from respective school/college/university on this matter. Each school/college/university has its own entry requirement.
Fail is when you see ?UNGRADED? on your Statement of Results.
Hi
Can you give me some tips in revising Biology, Chemistry and Physics properly? Am doing my Igcse’s next year and I want to make use of the time as early as possible 🙂
Hi Hailey,
You can revise the subjects from the beginning. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
TIPS:
Learn and understand the key concepts and formulas. Familiarise/memorise the key equations/formulas. Try solving a problem with the formula without looking it up. You MUST do this as many times as you can. You will be able to remember the formulas/key equations better when you repeat this step.

Hey guys,
I’ve done a few of the Physics (0625) past papers from the year 2018 in your website a few weeks ago. Now I just wanted to come check the mark scheme but the 2018 category seems to be not there anymore. Could you kindly check if it’s still there or it may just be a mistake on my end.
Thanks
Hi Amir,
We’ve checked on our end and all marking schemes for Physics (0625) is properly uploaded. Kindly check it again.
hello IGCSE I’m writing 8 subjects this may/June 2019 IGCSE examination which includes: Maths, English, ICT, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Business. I’m having difficulties studying business and literature. Please I need tips on them and other subjects
Hello,
Start as early as possible. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
You may purchase the A* Model Answers which shows the A* answers for the respective exam papers here: https://www.skolatis.com/igcse-exam-resources/
Lastly, DO NOT wait until the very last minute to do your revision. You may also consider our A* revision courses here: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-revision-courses/
Thanks,
I’m supposed to check the 2019 syllabus not 2016-2018 right?
Hi again,
Yes, you should check the 2019 syllabus for next year’s examinations.
Hello, I am an IGCSE Additional Mathematics student and finding past papers for the subject is super difficult because of how few people take it. When will this website upload past papers for IGCSE Add Maths (0606) and also, how do I begin studying for Add Maths, which I am taking in the May June 2019 session?
Hello,
We’ve uploaded all past papers for Mathematics – Additional (0606). Kindly check it again.
With Maths, you?ll need a lot of practice.
1. Learn and understand the key concepts and formulas. Familiarise/memorise the key equations/formulas (refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/ ).
2. Do revision based on the latest syllabus and practice with the latest past exam papers (https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/ ). Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
Tips:
Minimize your reference checks. Try solving a problem with the formula without looking it up. You MUST do this as many times as you can. You will be able to remember the formulas/key equations better when you repeat this step.
Lastly, you may also be interested in our Exam model answers. Many students scored A* by copying the style of the answers. Please check them out here: https://www.skolatis.com/igcse-exam-resources/
Dear IGCSE Center,
Could you please upload the 2019 specimen papers for biology(0610).
Hi Dhruvi,
CIE has only uploaded 2019 Specimen Paper 5 Confidential Instructions only. They did not release any Specimen paper for other papers.
Specimen papers are only available when there?s a change in syllabus. Specimen papers will not be available if the syllabus remains the same. Thus, the question format would be the same as previous years.
Please read the ?RED? remark here for specimen papers: https://www.skolatis.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers
