I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

guys how did you find multiple choice 11? ngl i found it quite hard even though the theory was rather easy. what was the extension of the wire, was it 12mm or 13mm? when i used Hooke’s law i got 12mm but from simple subtraction i got 13mm so i was confused…
guys!! please, my anxiety is going up!
it was 13mm, you just had to subtract the initial unstretched length from the length of the spring with a 30N weight.
I went with 13mm out of subtraction
It was 13mm! Just do simple subtraction..paper 1 doesn’t usually require any application of laws or long calculations.
what about the barometer ? was it c or d?
c

FOR PHYSICS 0625 PAPER31
Dear IGCSE Centre,
Could I have Thai First Language the May-June 2014 Papers please.
Thank you 🙂
Hello KN,
It is done. Check the folder Thai – First Language (0518), you will find 2014 past papers there.
Saaaanchu very much
variant 31 physics was dead easy compared to other years lol
Yea, it was easier than most past papers but unfortunately that means the grade boundaries will be high /:
yeah. what did you get for the prism question in the multiple choice. where the temperature would be the highest
i chose D because i was thinking there would be ultra violet light there but i should have made that assumption. It might be c because violet light is hotter than red light as it’s closer to ultraviolet. what did you put as your answer?
i put red light
i just checked it online, the answer is A because although you can’t see it, there is infrared light there which has the biggest heating effect /:
but that makes no sense. does that mean there is also uv ight below violet? and below that there is xray? and gamma rays? this question is soo absurd! I chose red cuz its closest to infra in the electromagnetic wave spectrum :/ damn
Thwre ia definitely UV light and infrared light because it comes from the sun
T_T I marked A first, erased and marked B.
Dear IGCSE Centre,
Out of curiosity, I just checked other people’s results of their IGCSE’s from past years and I noticed that any grade below 90 only received an A. When i checked this with the threshold for corresponding the year, however, the minimum grade to reach an A* was much lower than 90 for the subject. How is this so? I am getting very anxious and i would appreciate a reply
Thankyou in advance
Hello Erin,
The grade threshold varies from year to year. Depending on the worldwide candidates? achievements. If the overall achievement is low, then the graph for the threshold will be low as well.
Usually, the lower boundaries are due to the difficulties of the exam papers for that year.
If an A* for Co-ordinated sciences was an overall mark of 70% last year, will this year’s boundary be similar to last year?
Physics 31 and 11 were the most easy papers Cambridge have ever released. Honestly even my monkey can get A*.
I found it very difficult
so did I
did you get for a current 6000A at any point in your answer
me too
you do realize that we know you both (Hilary and the monkey team) are the same person right?…. lol!
Don’t get excited too easily! Thresholds can be high for easy papers! High expectations can lead to disappointments! Just saying
exactly
you guys are the same people, Hilary and mokey team… lol watr u trying to do?
He wouldn’t get an A* because the grade boundaries will be super high dumbass
