I’ve learned advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me!
“I am really enjoying Skolatis! It is very helpful. I feel that the way you teach the subjects are very helpful and aid in helping people learn more complicated things. For example I’m a lot ahead in chemistry and biology. I’ve learned many more advanced things much faster than a teacher could have taught me it. Skolatis has really helped me improve in chemistry and biology!”

How did you guys find the coordinated science paper? 32?
Tough. You?
i did quite well there were some tricky questions but I went quite well indeed
It was extremely tough..
Depends on how all the students did..
If many found it easy then I am doomed!!!!!
It was extremely extremely hard what do other people say in ur class?
We did(variant paper 1) and my class said it was though… Some questions were weird and I was not sure and a lot of ppl we’re getting different answers….
I’m finally done!! Thankyou IGCSE Team , you did play a big role in helping me with my exam! Now its time to party 😛
I was also wondering, when is this website going to be IGCSE and A-level centre?Because I’d love to come back and study on this website for A-levels next year!
Hello Rahaf,
We are setting the A-Level Centre up! 🙂 … Wait for our announcement. Make sure you have subscribed to receive our news.
what about IB?
Hi Jack,
So sorry, we can’t possibly do all… So no IB 🙂
awwwn damn! IB would have been really helpful!! Your website is the only organized one I like haha
Well done! Go play now! 🙂
Dear IGCSE Centre,
Out of curiosity, I just checked other people?s results of their IGCSE?s from past years and I noticed that any grade below 90 only received an A. When i checked this with the threshold for corresponding the year, however, the minimum grade to reach an A* was much lower than 90 for the subject. How is this so? I am getting very anxious and i would appreciate a reply
Thankyou in advance
Hello Erin,
The grade threshold changes every year. Depending on the overall worldwide candidates’ achievements for that year. If the exam was rather difficult, the achievement graph would be low. Hence the percentage to achieve A* would be low as well 🙂
I think you’re mixing up percentage and percentille. You have to get above 90 percentile to get an A* but your percentage may actually be much lower.
hi, u really cleared up my doubts!! thankyou sooooo much 😀
but we never get to know our percentage… only our percentile. so how did they know their percentage
Who here did coordinated sciences paper 12 and 32? How did you guys find them?
I did – I messed up 2 questions in paper 12..the rest was okay though, I think. Most of my class found paper 32 tough, except for the physics part.
What did you think?
Paper 32 was extremely hard..how did other people find them?
How was papers 11/31 and 12/32 for Physics
11 and 31.. quite easy
I am dying here!!! How was physics…. I am scared
Yea I agree, paper 32 was quite hard
How did you find paper 12?
Probably harder than most of the past multiple choice papers I had seen. 12 and 32 both very difficult.
Paper 11 was ok but kind of hard
Hala bro,
physics paper 11 and 31 were a piece of cake.
Just made my day
very true, what did u write for the magnets one on the balance? in multiple choice paper 11.
the iron would increase more than 100g and the mange would decrease less than 100g
i said the mass would be higher than 100 g for both because the iron bar and magnet would both be attracted to the bar magnet and go down as they had the north poles and things in a magnetic field always move from north to south. What about you?
yeah but the two poles attracted so if you moved one close to the other it would attract and therefore the weight would decrease as it is lifted from the balance and onto the other magnet
idk i assumed the magnets would go down and cling to the one on the balance but it also depends on whether or not they are being held in position in the air. That was a weird question because if the magnet goes up then the reading on the scale would be zero and it wouldn’t just simply decrease.. /:
i think i overcomplicated it but the question was badly worded too..
and also for the prism what did you put?
for the prism i put B
So were the 12 and 32 papers
Any tips for additional math?
Practise loads of past papers. Im struggling with it as i started the course really late but i find that just solving past papers is the best thing to do as it gives you an insight as to how to go about solving questions. Maths and especially additonal just require lots of practice..right now ive neglected add. Math and solving past papers and ive realised it’s not good at all as ive forgotten some stuff, but now that i have 10 free days im surely gonna have a go at it. Don’t make the mistake i have!:)
Thanks alot! But are you doing the recent papers only or even the older ones.
Good luck anyway and may we all get an A*. Is this your last exam?
Ive been doing recent papers (2014)but ive also done older ones. And it’s my last exam, after economics and business studies 🙂 im really nervous!! May the curve forever be in our favour (even tho add. Math thresholds are usually really high) and may we all get A*s!!
Dear IGCSE Team, may I please know where the past papers for Computer Science (0487) are. There is only a specimen paper for 2016 in the folder :S
P.S. Are there no specimen papers for 2015 or 2017?
Hello Eugene,
This is a new subject, so no past papers available. There are only specimen papers available for 2015 and 2016. Check the folder again.
You can use the past papers of Computer Studies (0420) for your practice.
Hey can anyone tell how I’m supposed to study for computer science? I mean there aren’t any past papers. Please I’m so so worried
